This was a beautifully made piece. But it was a holiday gift for a male and the color in the photographs showed the piece as a deeper blue than it actually was. Hoping it won't be too light for my friend to wear.

Wearable Fiber Art - Luxurious Knit, Felt, Dyed Fashion Accessories, Clothing, and Fiber Jewelry

Each piece in my collection is an original design, created by hand -- either hand-knit, hand-felted, or hand-dyed. I work almost exclusively with natural materials, including merino wool, baby alpaca, silk, cashmere, and fine cottons. My collection includes a variety of scarves, cowls, shawls, shrugs, hats, gloves, fiber jewelry, and other innovative pieces. Over time, I have exhibited my work at multiple juried fine art & craft shows, including Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show, American Craft Council Show, CraftBoston, Paradise City, and others. In 2014, I was a winner of a NICHE Award (Professional Division, Fashion Accessories). My designs have been featured in numerous print and online publications, including the book Artistry in Fiber: Wearable Art.

I have been engaged in other creative pursuits too. My fine art photography has been featured in several solo and group exhibitions.
